Gadaladeniya temple is an ancient Buddhist temple located in the Pilimathalawa area in Kandy District of Central Province, Sri Lanka. The Embekka Dewalaya was built by the King Vikramabahu III during the Gampola Era.  It is located in Udunuwara in Kandy District.
